University of Hull’s Support For Scarborough UTC
The University of Hull – proud academic sponsor of Scarborough UTC
The University of Hull is delighted to be the academic partner for the Scarborough UTC.
Each UTC requires a university as a sponsor and we have substantial experience and expertise in science and engineering provision through undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, chemical engineering and medical engineering.
Our cutting-edge research addresses real world issues, from advancements in medical engineering to improvements in the wind energy, renewables technologies and environment sectors.
As the region’s premier provider of accredited engineering degree courses we can support the UTC curriculum and help to prepare students for their future careers. Our graduates are amongst the most employable in the UK and much of this success is due to working closely with industry to ensure the standard of our teaching keeps pace with advances in the profession. 94% of our graduates are in employment or further study within 6 months of leaving university, many finding positions with major employers such as Cummins Turbo Technologies, J P Hildreth, Selex ES, Jaguar Land Rover and many more.
